I would definitely be up for a game. I would agree with Adam, Slaley Hall would be a good test. Dont think ive broke 90 round there...that was off the Tiger tees!!

The last golf day i had was playing Parklands GC in Newcastle, then onto the horse racing where you can have a punt and a few beers or diet cokes in my case :-)

dark_horse.......... I play in the low 70's. If it's any hotter than that, I won't play!

Seen it before mate.....quality!

Round Blackpool would be ideal for golf....plenty of good courses to play at, a top night out afterwards, cheap hotels....(especially for me lol)

Dazzler...........the launch!!!

I would love to come, but would embarrass myself as I am pants, especially by looking at Dazzlers 73, Boyzi's driving and Adam's handicap. Way out of my league ha ha. But the drinking night out sounds good lol. Bit of a trip for me but would def be interested.

Tony............Needs golf lessons desperately!

Ok lets see how much interest we get and if there is enough, i will look into a block booking at one of Blackpool's finest courses........i think Royal Lytham is out of range though! lol

Dazzler........looking at the options!

This is tempting me to firstly find and then dust off the golf clubs. They've been rusting away in the garage for some years now. A glorious set of Slazenger Challenge purchased for £250 or so in 1984 when I was in my golfing prime.

Not sure if they'd be playable but would be interested to see if I can still hit a ball.

Jonathan....looking for his clubs

Its all a good idea but i think its best if you work it out to a neutral location. In mine and Locomotives case its not fair us having to drive 2 1/2 hours to Blackpool and then 30 mins for others and i believe 5 in ur case ;-)

Used to play off 4 in my youth, haven't played seriously for a long time, stats I remember....

Best round .........63 (Par 65), 68 (Par 70)
Worst round........Lots (played Gullane in Scotland during a storm!)
best 9 holes........32 (-4 under par)
Longest drive......300+ yards in Thailand with a Permission driver!
Honours.............Finished 9th in the '93 UK Boys North of England Age Group Championships

Would love to play again if anyone fancies a game.

Daryl you shoot club record from the stands :-P I cant wait to watch it in real life hahaha

I can imagine it now a 4 ball me you boyzi and dark_horse.. The 1st tee Dark_horse hits a good drive down the middle, Boyzi hits an easy iron to keep it in play, you send a cracker down the fairway.. And I shank it onto the 18th green!! wow!! cant wait.. Would still be up for a hack round!! blakpool is a nice town/city the plessure beach is also very good!!

Locomotive....... Wants to see dazzler in action!!

Dazzler you have all the shots in the bag!! I can see you stood on the first tee shaking.. 100 pool players around you.. all eyes on you!! This is when you try and put an extra 30 yards on your drive and then the hands come into play!! you come over the top and hit it into the trees on the left!! I take 8 iron and dolly one dwn the middle thanks 1 up hahahaha

I then button a career shot onto the green and 4 putt :-(

Locomotive........ Dazzler then woke up with cornflakes on his chin and tiger woods in the PS2
