well basically our club i would bet has the best atmosphere than any and when packed is a real buzz to play in,

we want to bring the countries most elite players to our venue and make it a real showpiece occasion, IMO the country lacks these big pool showdowns and we are hoping we can start something,

we are looking at £1000 a match, big races with winner break,

but most of all mick its having a good night out and playing some good pool to go with it

hope your still interested

we can even do team events aswell

i think its a great idea, a mosconi cup format is ideal, hopefully games like this can catch on.

Good idea and should be worth watching.

Bit too rich for my blood though and not sure I'd be matching up for money with players mentioned in this thread!

However I'd certainly like to play for a few quid occasionally for a bit of variety and fun mainly - for lower amounts and against the right people naturally. Would there be wider interest perhaps in a new thread where players who would be willing to play for a few quid could post details (contact details, where they normally or would be willing to play, amounts they'd play for etc.)?

Any interest in that as an idea??
