After hearing the great news about Dave Simmonds' appearance on DOND (and my own feeble efforts to look intelligent lol!) I was thinking about getting a team together from pro9 to attempt to get on BBC2's "Eggheads" quiz show.
I was hoping Big Dave would be interested (as he seems intelligent, or maybe I am just drunk lol)
I was wondering if anybody else would be up for this?

I think its a great idea Tony but as you can probably quess I chose DOND as there are no questions. Opening boxes is about my limit :-) outside of any sports questions.

i would be up for that im not really clever but i do remember strange things

my specialist subjects are sport science and history but entertainment music art ect i would be a waste

if we are gonna have a go we need a variety of people there is no point in us all being good at sport !!!!

I watched it tonight (I don't normally) and I'm not impressed - worse than a slow paced pub quiz!

Ha ha, thanks Dave. Think it would be fun and if we could get on, it would surely help to promote our game.
Hopefully Riggers would be up for this as it would be nice having our "president" representing the tour. So start reading the encyclopedias Lee!!
If people are genuinely interested I could probabaly get some information and application forms and bring them to a future GB9 tour stop.
P.s. I am c**p at sport and not great at geography ha ha, so some experts in these would be good lol

I'd give that a go. I am an avid watcher and have good general knowledge. I would also like a chance to wipe the smirk off of CJ's ugly stupid face. I hate him with a passion. Ok rant over. U should hold auditions for it. I hate him, hate him aaaaarggghhhhh.

I will try to get details from the company who produces it, hopefully in time to bring to Croydon for anyone who is interested. I think we would have to go to an audition before the show as all quiz/game shows do this. Sounds like there are a few interested, having a female on the team would be good advert for our game too, so you had better start swotting up Miss Cue lol!

I propose Doug Gordon as a member of the team, he is nearly as old as me and has spent a lifetime collecting useless trivia and also has a good knowledge of music.
