The 2017 began in April at Stoke Mandeville as Tony Southern beat no.1 ranked Dan Lee 7/5 to take his first title in 2 seasons.

£100 added to challenge fund so based on 8 players in challenge, the pot will be £180
In order to speed up the events the players meeting will be at 9:30 draw at 9:45, start of play will be 10am.
Tony Southern will run a £20 per man Blackball 8 ball flyer at this event across the Friday/Saturday Night. (minimum of 4 players required to run event, and you must enter the main BWPPA event therefore you cannot just play in the Blackball event, World Rules players are allowed to play as not above league level event, just a flyer)
2016 player of the year award will be presented prior to the event by Chairman Roy Kimberley.
