Event 1 will be maximum entry of 32 amateur players as we don’t want to jump into something massive but believe me this event will get bigger and bigger.
This is how the event will work... 32 player double elimination tournament into a double chance competition which gives the event massive value. Matches will be race to 9 with no handicaps. The event will continue as double elimination until there are two players remaining in the winners half of the draw and 4 players remaining in the losers half. At this point the 2 players in the winners side will be seeded and entered twice as they still have 2 lives remaining the other 4 players will complete the draw against them. This means if you are successful through the winners side you are then playing for the JACKPOT guaranteed at £600 wow a whooping 20x your entry fee minus admin fees. The jackpot will increase by £50 until its won. There will also be a trophy awarded to the first player who achieves the Jackpot. (Trophy presented at the following event).

Event Date – Saturday 5th April (Events will rotate between Saturdays and Sundays)
Venue – The one and only St Albans Hurricane Room (Open to offers of other clubs for future events)
Time – first 7 matches 10am. Staggered start times for others

Entry fee - T9B Member £30 + £5 admin fee
Non T9B Members £35 + £5 admin
(We have calculated our costs and feel for the work to stage these events this is a fair figure. Admin fee will include the cost of the beautiful glass engraved trophy awarded at every event, time spent promoting, printing costs, Equipment, stationary, TD fees, reports, photos and petrol.

The first 16 players eliminated will be entered into a plate tournament at the cost of £10, this will be straight Knock-out races to 5. There will be tables assigned to this event from around 3pm.

Side Event – 10ball Break Dish Roll up - Tickets will be sold for £1 each, Buy as many tickets as you like. At each event one name will be randomly drawn at 3pm. a percentage of the collected money is held for the next event the rest is divided by 10 and each ball is given a value.
example: £120 in the pot £20 is held for next event and each potted ball is worth £10. Any money remaining after the attempt is added to the break dish pot at the next event. This could go crazy!!! there are events in America were the pot is worth $2000 a ball.
We are expecting there to be a massive interest in this event therefore its important you enter ASAP to guarantee your place in Event 1.
Entry fees – Main Event entry fees MUST be paid by FRIDAY 28th MARCH after this date there will be a £10 penalty with the collected penalty money being divided and added equally to the Jackpot and break dish pots.
