WOW... It was great seeing so many friendly faces again, and some new faces too! First photos and a video of a match between Mark Gray and Tommy Donlon can be seen in the article here... www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=2171Thanks to everyone who came and said hello to me at The Pro Shop display! Obviously there's no room to show everything, and I'm not going to make huge sales at tournaments as all the players come very well prepared anyway, but if you could spread the word and recommend www.TheProShop.biz to your friends when you get back to your home clubs it would make my sponsorship of the tour all worth while. In fact, that's probably the only way I'll see any significant return on my investment in time and effort from attending these events, so please do make a special effort. If you know someone who needs a cue, or a pool accessory, please point them my way first. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours! In return I'll be able to keep reporting from these events, and securing more sponsors for you, the players on the T9B tour - improvements that YOU will benefit from directly... Like better equipment, and even subsidised entry fees. You heard it here first! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2013-02-03 12:22 ]

Great event from phil and Nicole. It is gruelling playing on both sides of the draw, match after match straight on its a real test of mental strength. As always with a tournament win you look back on some moments where you had a little run and things went your way, I had a few of those moments but also plaid well.
Great that phil has managed to lure some world class players onto his tour which can only be good for all the other players benefitting from all those matches even if they come off the wrong side of a few results its all invaluable experience.
Unfortunate with the club tables not being done but out of phils hands. Also some leanings to be had on schedule and what is the best way to do it over two days to give best value etc but this all comes with starting a new format.

That aside well done and looking forward to the next event. Phil is always trying to improve his tournaments and is not afraid to make changes...
Great to see dave knight make an appearance and a few of the old faces....
Great to have more tournaments on like this and really good timing trying to get the events in decent preparation for GB9 events so it just gets better for uk players.
Over and out
