The tournament is full and the draw will take place tonight with start times posted on our website. Once it's available I'll post in this thread.

Please Please if you are a tour player who cannot attend let me know today. Also if you are interested in taking a spot if one comes up at the last minute please advise indicating if you would play pro challenge or are not bothered which.

OK I now have 1 pro spot available. Call me on 07961 444430 if you want it. Anyone wanting to play would be playing their first match at 6pm or 7.30 pm Friday.

I can't think of any other way around it but this could prove to be very unfair to one unlucky player who is ranked in the bottom 64 as he is going to draw a pro player in the first round. I hope it isn't me :-(

That's somehting they will have to get used to early next season as we hopefully have a wealth of good players attracted to the tour who will start in the challenge division on zero points. As Cletus says being on a tour of this stature is about all players embracing the challenge and not focusing on their opponents but on their own game.

I agree completely. But at the same time i can understand the organisers frustration at players not turning up.
It would be interesting to know how many of the 128 players would like to go back to knowing the draw in advance.

The draw itself should really be irrelevant; at the end of the day it is down to the individual to play their game, not worry about whom they may be up against.
