its amazing to think that greg norman at 53 is probably a 72 away from lifting the claret jug for the 3rd time... he was my golfing hero when i was growing up and definitely played a huge part in me picking up a club for the first time in about 1983... to win today he will have to see off the reigning champ though who looks the smart bet in all honesty.. well, sunday dinner ice cold beer sticky toffey pudding and custard THEN THE BACK 9 DRAMA.. 'Gripping' being the operative word for me as in the cheeks of my backside on watching the effects of the wind etc. Am playing in The 2008 British Seniors Amateur Open in two weeks time at Royal Cinque Ports in Deal, a similar ex Open venue and I have never ever played on any Links course at all before, in fact I've never played in rain either. If it blows like that I will probably kack meself and shoot John Daly numbers  Well done hustler in predicting the winner, never looked in danger.
