Hi all
In case you don't know me by my Nickname I am Simon Clarke father of Louis Clarke, both GB9 players and try to get to most comps.
Me and Nigel Stillion (nickname Animal) are thinking of running a tournament in Bournemouth Rileys and would like some input on date and price and format etc.
Prob same sort of thing as all the other small comps at the moment 32 players 8 groups of 4 top 2 go into last 16 straight knockout etc. etc. i'm sure you all know the format by now and i think it works well and give players that our still learning the game some good match play experience.
Anyway we were looking at a poss date of Sat 19th or Sun 20th July 08 and an entry fee of around £25.
Feed back on date and price or format would be good thanks.
All money in will be paid out
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A DEFINITE EVENT YET, STILL NEED TO AGREE WITH CLUB AND GET A GOOD RESPONSE.

Hi Lewis hope your feeling better!... i will be holding another Bunjee bournemouth classic very soon More prizes more cash and more polayers are already in progress!! dates will be co ordinated by the best at that Dave Knight!

When you say all money in paid out, so i take it you will be running a Tournament and not getting paid nothing for your time and effort.

Yes if and when this Tournament is run all money in will be paid out. We will not make any charge for running this event apart from poss a small fee for a Trophy.
Why, do you usually make a charge for you events, is that the norm? Its only one day and a bit of work leading up to the event so i really don't mind doing it for free. Also i don't have a problem with other people making a charge to run an event. I think the more events there are for players in all areas of the country the better.
PS. If you are thinking this is anything to do with the other event run last year at Bournemouth its not.
Looking at the calendar this may not be a good time for this event as it is between GB9 & MickeyFlynns 10-Ball.
Feed back please anyone who may be interested in this event.
