Hi Guys, i am borrowing my friends snooker cue from him for when i play the occasional game of 8-ball for my local. All i am wondering is how to sort out how smooth it is, as it catches on my chin hairs and is really quite annoying. What would i use to stop this happening, as i'm pretty sure that not all snooker players are clean shaven. Thanks guys Ads [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-04-30 18:55 ]

lol, i will do but i'm unfortunate enough to have hair that seems to grow really really fast. Plus i look like a baby when i'm clean shaven lol oh and andystoke, i already have gillette fusion, and if thats not working i'm not sure what will....

I actually preferred playing with a tiny bit of stubble on my chin... Smooth skin brushing on the cue shaft wasn't particularly comfortable, but I know what you mean about ash cues - ouch!
Would it be possible to burnish and seal the wood grain somehow, or perhaps use some cue wax?

possible i suppose, i'm also considering my friend as well because as he is at the age of puberty, he has grown a lone hair on his chin and i wouldn't want his cue to deprive him of this

Do what Graham Dott did in the snooker recently. He had a plaster on his chin. It looked really really cool too!
