I don't see any flights to Friedrichshafen any more. Does anyone else know the best route to go? I know some people have flown in to Zurich before but that's 85 miles away. Is it a train ride from there? Sounds a long way for a taxi. Also it looks like there are plenty of flights to Innsbruck. Does anyone have any experience of getting from there to Rankweil? Correction - I see Ryan Air still fly there but only from Stanstead, no longer fro LPL so I guess I'll just have to go with that.

Flight to Zurich was much cheaper for me (using easyjet from Luton). Train from airport to Rankweil takes about 2 hours. Easy to look up train times via the Zurich Airport website.
