While some of the hotshots (Peach, Drago, Gray and Majid) will be battling it out in the Riviera Hotel next month it is interesting to see the entries for the amateur tournaments which take place in the same venue.
I notice that there are two Appletons playing, Darren in the TAR Pit and Andrew in the Masters Division of the amateur event. Could we see a family double?
The open 8 ball event has attracted 1270 players, imagine organising that one Riggers!
Apart from that there are 1230 other players taking part.
In my division of Super Seniors (over 65's) there are 137 entries.
The Grand Masters Division at the moment has only attracted 15 players, this event usually has around $5000 added to the entry fees.
My organisation the Confederacion Española de Pool is sending 26 players on all expenses paid trips and apart from that there are about 50 other Spanish players going.
This is always a great tournament and with the added attraction of "our" Pro players, this year should be even better.

Yeh, it's quite funny they insisted Andy go in the masters after seeing his surname :) He's only been playing american pool for a few months :)

This is after the boys went over there a year or 2 ago and cleaned up in just about everything, so they clearly weren't taking any chances this time. Good luck Dog!

no disrespect but surely it didnt do him any favours by practicing with a bird who prob cant break and finish, not having a dig just not ideal is it.to win this comp a serious amount of running will be needed, good luck though

looking forward to apps v frosty the snowmans game

lol cheeky... ya never know u might be honoured enuf to play against me one day
i obviously know that if the pressure isnt on from your opponent then u wont play your best game and may go for some silly shots that you wouldnt against a better player... hence why i enjoy playing against the better players myself...
all i was saying in my original post striker was how the dog played the other night he can do some serious damage in vegas.. especially on those ridiculously small tables.. they look to have more pocket than cushion

the only dishes i do are on the pool table dear :D
