I have just looked at the ranking list for the GB9 ball tour and was wondering what numbers were currently sitting in the relegation positions to have to qualify for their spots next season.
I know that it is the bottom 24 players but if you include players that have only come in as reserves, such as tony drago, this would get shifted around slightly.
Would it not be possible to highlight the players who are currently sitting in the bottom 24 and are in the danger area?
Also if this does happen, maybe highlight promotion places from the challenge division as well as relegation positions in the main.
Just a thought so players are aware of their chances of staying in.
Just putting in my thoughts on the rankings
The only other thing i was dissapointed in was dropping places in both the main and challenge rankings.
(by the was team you have done great to get this up as quickly as it has been)

Yes, that's a nice idea Ads. Currently it would need manual effort unless I recode the tournament software as the software doesn't know who is a tour player and who is a reserve but it would be nice to add that. I have a big to do list so but I'll try and get that added at some point. Please remind me if you don't see it.

Just some ideas...
Am I right in thinking that the reserve players can only come into play if people drop out of an event?
So if Tony Drago kept on getting a reserve place (due to people dropping out) and doing well, surely he should replace, say, me, who was losing at every event if I was ranked 104?
Having said that, someone in the class of Tony Drago could be taking points away from fully paid up members, especially if he knocks them out of the first round as he effectively won't be seeded.
Not sure how you would work this one out but I'd suggest maybe keeping the top 100 from the original 128 players and another 4 from the whole list if there are any that have achieved a significant amount (decided by the committee).
E.g. Drago ends up 6th and none of the other reserve players do particularly well. Then, the top 103 and Tony Drago stay on the tour.
If Tony Drago only plays in the Croydon event because everyone turns up to the remaining events, then as his ranking will be lower down (say 70) he won't be awarded one of these possible wildcard places.
To be honest, if you're going to be ranked so low down that your place is in jeopardy and there are more deserving players in the reserves list, then you should be prepared to get thrown off.

Tony will have to qualify unless he replaces someone who drops out of the tour. The top 104 tour players (not reserves) will keep their place as already stated.
