So, is this every Saturday? What time does it start? Might just fancy a trip down for the weekend :)

Riggers, yes, this is every Saturday night. Registration starts from 7pm, practice tables open up at 730pm and the tournament starts at approximately 8pm. The format is DKO, winner's side race to 5 alternate break, loser's side race to 4 alternate break. As I've not gotten to the final stages as yet myself, I cannot say what the races are to from last 16 to the finals. It is a handicapped tournament.

Is it the same handicap system as when chris ran the comp? Would mine still count from about 2 years ago? I've only got worse since then...

No it's not, I'm still trying to figure it out myself but it is a fair system. For first time entrants, they'll be evaluated by one or more of the top players at the club.

I think 3 start race to 5 off Imran would be about right for me but I'd happily take 2.

I played Imran in the Final, he gave me the 7 and out.
The score was 6-2 (not 6-4 Dave).

I got 3 chances and took 2 of them!

Ahhh, cheers for the correction Colin... I thought there were too many 6-4's in there when I saw the results too!

Well done for getting to the final mate!

I should think it'll be on since the players at the club are not all GB9B tour players and hence it'll will have no effect on attendance either way
