as you know i got giddy as the devils playground in going to the 9ball worlds last year and depressed as they come when returning.was really lookin forward to returning this year for the same tourney but seen as its unlikely its goin to be in phillipines ive decided to go to this event instead(hard life i know).
theres 4 of us defo goin from our way,the tourney is 6th - 12th october at araneta colesseum,unfortunatley ive got to go from the 5th through to the 20th .spending a week at manila then hopefully goin to peurto galera for a few ball slackners :elol:.just wondering if any other site users are making the trip over there for this comp,whether its playing or just enjoying a relaxing holiday,im doin the latter.i know quite afew mentioned goin to the 9 ball worlds this year but im just wondering if any are goin to the 10 ball worlds,an awesome experience for anyone tkae on board.guna book this week so again if anyones goin can get together for a few bevvies and theres a nice little poker club we found just round corner from oneside(happy days)which run reg tournements,stung orcullo for a few quid last time chasing a flush(lucky river card )

should be a great time again and hopefully few more will be there from pro9.

havnt been in contact with butch,chalmers,baggy or wollerton so am sure they will read this and get back to me

just been reading some websites and come across some stuff saying the world 10 ball in manila is from the 29th sep to 5 oct,have they changed the dates for this,good job we havnt booked for this yet if this is the case

any news from the big guns apps,boysi,peach or dixon

Eric, I would not book yet if you definately want to catch the pool. Things are very political here as you know and dates change at a whim this is a filipino organised event.

One of my friends has opened a club in mekati which is a private members club with poker, live footy, horseracing, in fact all sports events which you can gamble on at stan james prices.

It is above a very good entertainment bar as well. Anyone thinking about coming just do it, life is great here.

My ex business partner and good friend came to visit me for two months after living in Barcelona for the last three years and he is not going home.

cheers dave,was just one of the lads that is goin wanted to book the flights because he reckons we wont go if we leave it any later,not sure why but thats what he thinks,sounds great the club your buddy has got and prob be worth goin there.
dont think efren will play me though as hes wont be favourite to win but it will be his choice if he wants to lose some cash,was thinkin about van boening or orcullo to start me off
but seriously have the dates been changed from the 5oct-12oct to 29sep-5oct,caught the date change on another website.didnt have no mention of the colesseum as being the venue though so id post on here to get an update from people in the know,like yourself.
