Didnt he do this a few years back? I seem to remember someone telling me at the Bristol World qualifiers.

I have only met Fabio on one occasion and that was in Cardiff '03, and he has always struck me as being some who "wears his heart on his sleeve", so to speak.
Reguardless of all the "Who?, what?, when? where?, why?" malarky, I hope that Fabio will have a full and speedy recovery.

I agree TheWizard, i was at the mosconi cup in Bethnal Green a few years ago when he was invited to play for Europe, he found it all too emotional and was crying at some times in singles matches. As you say he is a really nice guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Whatever the trouble I hope he finds his way through soon. ----------------- Andy Warden, GB9 - Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor √ [ This message was edited by: cueman on 2008-03-15 00:30 ]

Its a frustrating game sometimes, must be more so at the top if you rely on it to make a living. Maybe a break is needed for him

I was playing my match when it happened. Whole arena nearly stopped. They asked for a medic to to attend the pro room over the tannoy. Crazy stuff.
Having a great time, I will catch up with everyone on my return.

A lot of us know Fabio well as he played on the UK Pro9 Ball Tour many, many times and I'm sure everyone hopes he's not hurt too bad and wish him a speedy recovery. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-03-15 17:48 ]

i read this the other day on az, very bad, it must have just been building up inside him and he had no other way to let his anger/fustration out, so decided to whack his head....a few times. Hope he is ok though, not a nice thing for anybody

I think we've all been there to some degree. Frustration building up no matter what you try doing until you explode. Broken cues, balls off the table, chalk out of the window. Not to mention punching tables and swearing loudly. But this is in a diiferent league.
Hopefully its not too serious and fab can look back on it as a crazy moment like basil fawlty smashing up the mini with a branch or banging his head on the sideboard. But experience says there's 'other things going on' It shows there's always someone worse off than yourself. Hope to hear some good news from his direction.
