reland’s Senior Open Invitation 9-Ball Cup
Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour are organising a open seniors (over 40’s) 9-ball event on Saturday 8th March in Frames snooker & pool club Belfast City centre……
The organisers are trying to attract 32 players from throughout Ireland and other overseas countries as well as past and present snooker players with the age limited being 40 or over on the day of the tournament (passport or driving licence must be produced as proof for entries)…..
The prize-money is based on money in and money out and entries are based on a first come, first served……..
Prize-Money: Winner: £1500 + crystal trophy Runner-up: £800 Semi-Finals: £500 (2 x £250) ¼-Finals: £400 (4 x £100)

Date: Saturday 8th March 2008
Venue: Frames Snooker & Pool Club, Belfast City Centre
Number of Tables: 10 tables
Format: Based on 32 players, 8 groups of four, double elimination, race to 10, winner breaks, Knockout stages (last-16 race to 10, ¼-finals, race to 11, semi-finals race to 12, final race to 15).....top two goes into last-16.
Time: 10am played on one day unless second day is needed which will be Sunday next day
Dress Code: black trousers, polo or dress shirt (with collar), black dress shoes…
Airports: Venue is approx 8 miles from Belfast City airport & 20 minutes drive from Belfast International airport….
