Greetings everyone from sunny New Zealand where I am having a fantastic holiday. The only thing is I can't find anything more than the odd beaten up English style Pool Table. I think that Rugby and Cricket are the only two sports that matter over here. Anyone who has ever thought of coming to this country for a vacation should do it as it has everything you could ask for except pool!!! Will be back in Spain and to the forum in a month's time. Good luck in the Eurotour and congratulations to Imran for his latest wins and of course, congatulations to Lee and Shirley.

Cowie I'm sure I sent you the addresses of some nice sounding pool halls... Did you not get to visit them, or were they too far away?

I've no problems here I get a game every night... Just ordered some blue and green Simonis 860 cloth and some tv cup balls for our table out here. I'm working on the boss to have a new Metro for next year, so fingers crossed! I did try and suggest that I use the Pro 9 shop, but with my employers being an American company, they insist the suppliers are all American...sorry Dave, I did try....

Found an English style 8' table last night in reasonable condition. Slaughtered the local talent which goes to show how bad they are!!!! Anyway it was nice to hit a few ball around after over two weeks of not picking up a cue. Going to the North Island tomorrow, maybe things will be better there, if not I will try in Melbourne in a couple of weeks time which is the next stop.
