Even if they did say that a Eurotour event would be held in the UK, where would they hold it? Something's telling me the largest operator of pool and snooker in the UK (not mentioning any names), would not be up to the challenge

You cant miss the experience of a eurotour. I enjoyed being swizzled 10-1 by Alex Lely in Weert in my first match. Nerves got the better of me.
It wasnt cowie who turned up......it was Twitchy McTwitch lol

As riggers rightly said, it costs around 400 all in (for weert it did), but i think Malaga would probably be cheaper. As long as you pre-book all of your travel, accomodation its cheaper. Listen to me....i sound like a seasoned traveller.
I then played Stefan Lammands in my next match, i was practicing before the match (as you do) and then suddenly the ferrul snapped off my P2. I dont think it was because of the 100mph 3 foot pot i played with a tonne of gear for no apparent reason. Hence i lost that match.
I enjoyed my first exposure to the European pool scene lol.
But seriously there could be a few places where they could hold a Eurotour event in the UK. The only issue is the tables, wouldnt they have to be sent in from elsewhere?

The Hilton Hotel Blackpool would most likely be the venue.

It all sounds so easy doesnt it, lets have it in Blackpool, Manchester, London etc. The tables arent the only issue, Of course they have to be supplied but dont think that the Eurotour organisers supply them, they have to be purchased or borrowed etc. Then there are the costs of hosting the actual Eurotour, I wont mention figures but we are talking of several thousand which has to be found by the hosts (club/federation etc Organising a Eurotour is an expensive and complicated business, the cheapest way is to hold it in a club with at least 16 approved tables, but if you take it to a hotel, there will be considerable costs involved. Is there any organisation in Britain with the funds to hold a Eurotour, I would be very surprised.

There is no organisation with the necessary funds Peter and I agree I can't see a Euro Tour coming here for that reason unless the EPBF have a trick up their sleeve we don't know about.

I think after the recent events in Manila you have to say the favourite is Blackpool, but don't rule out the venue Darkside is holding Fistful of dollars in Bristol.
This also looks a good venue.
