I think they should make Tony Drago a regular from now on. Say what you like about him but he has made this Mosconi Cup exciting to watch. You never know what he's going to do. That's what the viewing public who don't understand the finer points of 9 ball want to see.

Europe 7-5 up!! What a comeback! Here are Corey Deuels comments after his match against Drago: "I feel he (Drago) is the softest draw in his team and all the other players are better than him," said Deuel. "He feels good but got a lot of rolls. It's only a race to six and if he played a race to 100 with his team mates then he might get 50. One word: Pathetic [ This message was edited by: cusack_147 on 2007-12-15 21:43 ]

yes the presenter is awesome!!
after day one we was all bewildered!! and very critical esp me!!
since then they showed great heart and determination they put usa under pressure and there guys are playing so bad its amazing! just missing balls thats hard to believe!
drago just intimidates them and puts them on edge with his style and speed of play!!
its all looking good now! cant see them coming back this time!
great year for european pool!

Maybe it is for the benefit of the taxman! If they counted all of Daryl's winnings for 2007 the inland revenue guys would be rubbing their hands! Daryl would receive the same amount win or lose , unless things have changed . You are paid a set amount to compete and therefore he will get the same as shane whatever the outcome.

Each player gets $10,000 for taking part and the winning team get an extra $10,000 per player for the win.
All changed since your day, eh Rocket?

Guys, quick question, IF, and I say IF, the Euro team are about to sink a winning 9ball to win the Mosconi, is their a chance the american who is about to be defeated throws in his towel to deny us that amazing moment of sinking a winning Mosconi cup 9? Is it a common thing in pro play? Is it banned in the Mosconi? Just wanted to get some feedback, because I so want that moment where we sink that 9, and with how personal this event has been this year, worried USA may stop it. Ok, its a silly little question, but any answers would be great. Dazza EEEEEUUUURRRROOOOPPPPEEEE!

depends if its strickland thats being beat.
Although saying that my opinion of corey deuel has gone down since he said that stuff about Drago. Very unsportsman like. (plus it made him look stupid as he had just been whoped by Drago)

Yep, Duel and Strickland, both PATHETIC in how they have handled themselves. They should take after Rodney Morris, big heart, enjoys himself and shows respect to his opponents.
CANT WAIT TILL 7.30pm...COME ON EUROPE!

Would be unsportsmanlike if they did (I think). Also not very smart. It's (veeeeeery) remotely possible the Euro player could miss. Hope not though...I got $100 on Europe to win
