I will be contacting the next two on the reserve list asap, i know the lad that was at number 3 wants in so that leaves just 3 on the list.

I will be at Solihull next wednesday Craig, hopefully with a bit of form before the big one.

Hi guys - Just wondering what your thoughts are, I have just had a message off Daryl Peach to see if he can enter this comp?

Even though it is likely to be full without him i think it would be a good idea to bend the rules in this case.

I shall not kick off if the World Champion gets a spot before me. :D

Obviously to boot someone out would be a bit harsh I think but if a spot comes available fair play if he gets in first.

Is it an impossibility to extend the field to 48 (8 groups of 6), let Daryl and everyone on the reserve list have a spot? You could bring the start time forward a bit and shorten the races to 6 (??). You could be flexible with start times saying those that are able to get there as early as possible and perhaps get some matches going asap and give an absolute deadline for the remainder (10:45??). That way everyone is happy as long as that won't throw the schedule out so much. More people for the plate comp as well. This isn't a world away from what was advertised and so there shouldn't be too many objections (I wait to be proved wrong).

Daryl's obviously trying to add the second most prestigious 9 ball title to his haul this year!!

Sounds good to me John, the only problem is when i suggested shortening the matches at the last one it didn't go down to well.

Here is what i suggest. I let everyone on the reserve list in. There are two spare tables so the groups with an extra player use them and the matches stay race to 7.

Also if anyone can get there early and start it would be helpful.

If no one is against this idea i will put everyone that is on the list now into the registered section tomorrow and then that is it.

I won't be to offended by your suggestion that this will only be the 2nd most prestigious title Peach would of gone for this year!
