Yes I am sure they have decided that they want a good nights sleep rather than to celebrate winning the tournament LOL

Awesome result!
Done the hard way..
Straight thru Germany, China and the almighty Pinoys! Beating the phillipines so comprehensively is a massive boost for the Uk game. They might not have had Efren or Bustamante, but that was an incredibly strong Philippine contingent!
Absolutely superb result, congrats to every one of you!!!

From I saw that team GB were in the semi finals, I knew that team it would be the Brits and the Pinoys and in the finals, but I also had a gut feeling that GB would win it and so, I'm not surprised to see that team GB are the winners The British players have been becoming an increasingly stronger nation of players over the years at top level American cuesports and they have proven this repeatedly over the past number of years and it just keeps getting better with every year A very big congradulations to all the guys on the GB team on yet another well deserved world title victory Willie

A few years back they used to laugh at us for not understanding the game, not being able to break and only being good potters. Well they are not laughing now. We all knew it was coming but now at last we can say we are the world number ones at this game. More Brits in the top 16 of the ET than any other nation, more individual world champions than any other nation and now the world team champions

Congratulations Team GB, sorry i didn't watch myself but was always checking updates and knew after you cruised passed Germany you guys would have the confidence to finish the job after that great win. A well deserved victory and great boost for pool in the UK. The shootout against China is something i would luv to see, i know you guys must have shown heart there and thats great pool for me. Anyway i'll see you guys out in Paris, Daz at least buy a round now mate as theres no chance Daryl or Jim will...lol.
Well Played again and all the best guys.

Daz, the commentator on the live stream said that the full shootout would be posted up on the cueballvision website (www.cueball-vision.de); not sure if this will happen or not as only a sample is on there at the moment.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!! This tournament was up there with the best of em, and i have to say how proud i was of each and every one of my team mates. They all showed true british bulldog fighting spirit. We all backed each other up when things werent so good, and there was a real team spirit there like i have never felt before....even in Mosconi Cup! The event itself was fantastic with a superb format to get any true sports fan on the edge of their seats. The venue was great, and the organisation was spot on too. Thanks also to all you guys back here in UK for all of your support.......i can honestly say on behalf of all the team that it meant a lot to us and it absolutely doesnt go unnoticed! On a personal note, i have never felt anything like it when the drama unfolded during the shootout against China, every emotion ran through my head and body that night, and i will never forget it as long as i live....that night will be talked about for a long time! We always knew we were one of the favourites to take this World title, but to produce the goods in the way we did, against the toughest opposition (as the draw turned out) was beyond my wildest dreams. I am chuffed to bits for Mark, Karl, and Imran as its their first World title. For me its my second World title and i can honestly say that its just as sweet as my 9ball world title, because of the passion, posativeness, determination, skill, guts, bonding, and will of the whole team! I cant finish this post without paying a special tribute to skippy....Darren. He did an awesome job captaining the team, and had to make some unbeleivably tough decisions during the event....even though we had a team meeting before each and every match, the final decision rested on his shoulders, and he handled it like a true pro, cos i know he had some sleepless nights with the team picks racing through his mind....but he still produced the goods. Well done pal. ...and well done Mark, Karl, and Imran. Dazzler......Double World Champion!! wow!! ----------------- [ This message was edited by: dazzler on 2010-02-09 17:46 ]
