full list now on first page. if anyone is going to drop out would you please let me know as there are a few people that would still like to play.
thanks for everyone's interest in this, should be a good day with some very good players coming.
club opens at 11 and ideally i would like to start by 11.30 but if anyone is running late let me know otherwise i'll start without you and you will be scratched.
we're going to do 8 groups of 5, with top 2 going through to last 16 and then straight knockout with winner breaks format.
just so everyone knows what they're getting into the tables will not be tapped.
using 8 tables and anyone with their own balls and/or racks to bring would help.
my number is on the first page if you need to contact me.
cheers alan

Specially for Buckster this one, as I know you like to know about parking mate The car park at the side of the club is not very big, so in case you can't find a space on sunday you can park just round the corner at the swimming pool "pay & display"... £2 all day on sundays Link below shows how to get there from Rileys http://tinyurl.com/5fw3nz

just noticed my terrible spelling on last post!!!!!!!!!!!
revised list again.
just so you all know that if you're going to be late tomorrow and don't tell me i will have to scratch you from the comp because there are going to be a few locals turning up looking to get in.

Congratulations Alan, you done a very good job running your 1st comp, 39 players is good turnout too. Sorry I had to withdraw due to illness. Looked a high standard too!

Cheers to everyone for coming yesterday.... was great to get a full field of 40 for our first comp We'll have a look at dates & try to get another one organised soon. Here are the results from the last 16 onwards: Damian Overton bt Neil Cummins Lloyd Matining bt Louis Clarke Chris Stocker bt Steve Turnbull Brad Parker bt Mike Rogers Neil Margossian bt Alan Millership Martin Correia bt Tashunka Schultz Damian Massey bt Andy Dear David Walsh bt Nigel Francis Quarters: Damian Overton bt Lloyd Matining Brad Parker bt Chris Stocker Neil Margossian bt Martin Correia Damian Massey bt David Walsh Semis: Damian Overton bt Brad Parker Damian Massey bt Neil Margossian and the two Damian's split the money as it was quite late by then.... we'll need to look at the timing if we do another similar comp.
