I just received an enthusiastic voice message from a jubilant sounding Mark Gray... Well done all, one more match to go!

Well done lads! A brilliant performance and a brilliant fight back from Darren in his Ten Ball match. I don't have any nails left after the last 2 days in Hannover!

In Germany, they don't cross their fingers, they press their thumbs (don't ask, I don't know!). So, I'll have my thumbs pressed for you guys tomorrow!

On a wee personal note, thank you to the 5 of you in the GB1 team and Mick Hill for welcoming me into the fold. No matter who was playing, I would've still had a great time, but having a team to support made the event a whole lot better than I could have imagined. Good luck for tomorrow and as I said to you earlier - don't beat the Pinoys tomorrow; DESTROY THEM!!!

Best wishes

thecardman

whooo hoooooooooo

thanks for support guys today was tough after what happened last we all lookeed a little tired and drained but we put in a big effort to get over line.. very happy didnt feel good at stqrt of match but got strong3er as the match went on and relieved to win i really didnt want a shootout in a big way..lol

final tmrw we can go and give it everything with nothing to worry about just play to our potential as i feel we only played 60-70% of our game.. but we showed amazing heart from knockout stage last 16.. and very proud of team

but like we all said we havent come here to finish 2nd we come here for title and nothings changed so it early night breakfast at 10 then team meeting and then to venue for 1pm to practise..

match starts 2pm uk time

should be a cracker

team will be a little different tmrw..:-)

Dynamite..

OMG, how does Daz choose who to leave out? Haven't all been left out at some point apart from himself? So does he drop himself? Obviously can't drop Mark, who looks like their MVP to me. Do you even have to drop 1 player or can all 5 play? I don't think he can drop himself because they are going to need guts and heart to beat the Fils and he's got bucket loads of it.

Assuming only 4 can play this would be my pick:

8 Ball: Karl/Darren
9 ball: Mark/Daryl
10 ball: Darren/Mark

If he chooses Imran it will be:

8 Ball: Mark/Darren
9 ball: Imran/Daryl
10 ball: Darren/Mark

If he drops Daryl it will be:

8 Ball: Karl/Darren
9 ball: Imran/Mark
10 ball: Darren/Mark

Whatever happens I reckon the last 2 in the 10 ball are nailed on.

Tourplayer,

There are two 8 Ball doubles and you can play all five players.....

Mark & Daryl and Karl and Daz played the doubles last night.

Then Mark & Imran played 9 Ball
Daz & Daryl played 10 Ball

The stream is on www.wpapoolonline.com. On the tabs at top hover mouse over multimedia and select livestream. You have to register with the site and then it's 10 Euros. They were doing a special of that price for 5 days but not sure if they'll reduce price or keep it same for Final.

its been tough but no way can i change the doubles as we been so solid

so its
doubles

mark/daryl
darren/karl

singles i made mistake not playing karl against asians as i feel the asians really respect him as he had big results in far east.. and we decided yesterday if we get t final and we play philippines then karl would replace imran... tough decision but thats sports ... as the whole team we agreed ..

so singles will be

karl/mark/myself/daryl

not syaing who playing 9ball oir 10ball as dont want philippines to know our line up

thanks for support and hopefully next time post we our world team champions

Dynamite.. loving it today

Hi, just wanted you to know that at 17.30 local time there will be a mandatory time out. Play will then resume at 18.30 local time. This is due to the Harley Davidson road show finishing and they make a the devils playground of a noise here so play is suspended for that hour.

Oh yeah, the GB doubles are, mark and Daryl and Karl and Darren, same as before. Philippines are Alcano & Manalo (playing Peach/gray) and Kiamco & Orcollo in the other.
