rocket, all you have to do is phone Ted (if you can get through) tell him you want to play and that you are willing to pay all your own expenses of around £800+ and you may get in.

Not a bad shout but its going to be virtually impossible to predict a winner with so many good players playing.

WOAH! The most eagerly anticipated post ever. Rocket back on the circuit. This is great news. This actually could be the impeteus Rider requires to come back. Half the battle won, lets work on the other half.

Yeah GOOD LUCK boys......more chance of platting fog !

When i saw him last it was for him to try and qualify for the IPT main tour card in Weert (where i qualified).....he got cained by Boyzi, then went home and didnt even play in the losers side.....he told me that he shouldnt even be there....this was at 11am after a few buds!
Super talent but a wasted one!.....big shame IMHO!

Now then, the Rocket on the other hand......

......great news, saw the man at Barnsley the other week and he was still as keen to play USpool as ever.

Top Bloke, top player......watch out....the rocket's back!

(decent cook too ;-) )

Sorry for thread high jacking whoever started this thread! Just a big thing that Rocket is coming back.

Yes mate. Rocket introduced me many years ago. I was star struck lol!

Steve is such a humble guy and just a great laugh to be around. I could write a book on the stories, especially the PARIS OPEN. What an event. Rider won it and Rocket came second. We still tell the stories to this day, ha, ha!

Like Daryl said, its a difficult task to get him back. He just needs an incentive.

The club has a small car park (only about 6 places), the road the club is on is quite long and you can park anywhere down it. There is also a tesco supermakret which is five minute walk away and you might be able to park there. Il try and find out and give some definate answers by the weekend.

i know steve was a very good very player but even if he come back he wouldnt get back to his old level, unless he hit the gym stopped drinking and practised 5 hours a day for a year solid! plus the standard of play as improved in the past 3-4 years since he went of scene so he would probably after improve on his old form to be a threat to the top players around the world like he was before
imo!

nice to have you back rocket keep us all entertained sir.. he likes cooking sausages at 4am 50 of them in frying pan lovley sir!

Ok got some info on parking in and around the club. On the road of the club (Derby Lane) there are plenty of parking spaces and there is no pay and display so it is free parking all day.
