Just been looking at the results from last years Eurotour and it goes to show how good GB are now. This is the 6th event in a row that has featured at least 1 Brit. The last 2 were all Brit finals and the 3 prior to that we had the runner-up.
Last year starting with Paris we have had:
Last 32 - 7,5,10,7,5,9,7
Last 16 - 5,3,7,4,3,6,5
QF - 2,1,4,1,3,3,3
SF - 0,1,1,1,2,2,2
Finalists - 0,0,1,1,1,2,2
This time around we had 8 Last 32, 5 Last 16, 3 QF and then Ozzy through to the Final.
Just goes to show our dominance in the sport at the moment. I doubt any other country (with possible exception of Germany) could boast such a record.

And just to show how far we have come in 2008 we only had a player in the finals twice. One winning Appleton & Imran as the runner up!!
