Hi Pete, Good to see you again mate, without doubt this was a lot better place to play pool, hotel was cheaper, balcony gave great views to watch the play which created a brilliant atmosphere for playing, also being next to the marina helped,so very quick access to restaurants and bars! All in all couldn't fault it and look forward to going back next year...............
Regards, Mark.

Thanks lads for the feedback it is really important, I think that theTorrequebrada rooms were slightly better quality but at 20 euros per night less, the Alay for me was the better deal. THe position was also much better. I am sure that at 2 euros per pint, the beer tasted better as well. I actually live in Benalmadena about 1.5 miles from the venue but always stay in the hotel for the tournaments and I was very happy with the Alay. A note for Indiana, my wife always has a travel kettle with her when we travel, you should get one, comes in very useful. Who won the tournaments by the way, I forgot!!!!!
