Are you still going to use the 3 point rule Jonathan as it is going to be even harder to score the 3 points required with the balls not tapped? Just a thought as its GB9 format?

Update and directions.

2 spots left - come on people who wants these??

Tables on Sat will not be tapped. So if you're a fussy racker please bring a rack with you.

Club address;

1st Floor, 154-158 Alcester Road,
Moseley, Birmingham, West Midlands, B13 8HS

Directions for those coming from afar who don't know where they're going and don't have sat nav;

From M6 junction 6 follow A38M towards city centre. Carry on A38 signposted Bromsgrove along dual carriageway through centre.
You'll pass through several tunnels/underpasses as you go through the centre.
After the last of these (you'll see Etap Hotel on right hand side) get in left hand lane and take left at lights (signposted A45 Bham Airport amongst other things).
Cross straight over roundabout still following A45 airport.
At top of hill take right at large roundabout signposted A435 Redditch (and smaller sign moseley).
You're now about a mile away - carry straight on this road.
You'll pass large pub (jug of ale) on right and as you come into Moseley village smaller pub (Prince of Wales) on left.
Take first right after Prince of Wales. This is Chantry Road which is a residential street where you can park for free. If there aren't spaces near the top carry on down and you will find somewhere.
The Rileys is on the road you turned off above a Somerfield supermarket which you will see.
If you drive past Somerfield turn around and park in Chantry Road.

Club opens at 11 - first matches to start at 11:30 sharp.

Any probs ring me on 07765512661.

See you sat.

Jonathan.

Now this is the kind of info I like to see! :D

Cheers Jonathan. (Although I do have a SatNav lol)

Plan is no 3 point rule, but no 'soft breaking' allowed - so in the spirit of the GB9 format. Hope that will be agreeable with eveyone.

Cheers Chris, Thanks to Jonathan for organising the comp,he did a great job! Too many dry breaks in the final for me and silly mistakes, but congratulations go to Jonathan for winning a rather scrappy match but broke well and fully deserved to win.

Well done on the win Jonathan and also well done on running your first comp - did a great job I think!

After playing well in practice of late it was just a shame that I didn't play better on the day.

Roll on next weekend :-)
