Haha :) Yeh Andy is a top practice partner. I also have to thank Jonathan for the draw :)    Having said that after beating Rob Jude, which was always going to be a tricky opener I played much better as the tourney went on.

Awesome result from Phil beating Mark in the semis. Phil really is the hottest young player in europe right now! Just to get this into perspective in the last couple of month's he's has beat he World Champion and the World Semi Finalist so what a result it is to add another massive scalp i.e. the Euopean Number one, to his already impressive CV, and all this at just 17 years old! What a player and what a prospect this young gentlemen is going to be for UK pool. Just awesome Phil.

I know you'll be disappointed not to win and maybe the victory against Mark took it's toll - I don't know but I know you missed a few more than I would have expected.

Me and Phil seem to draw each other a lot these days and we're probably 50/50 in the battles. I have so much respect for this kid's game and I know deep down he's such a big talent so to beat him in the final really was great win for me. I knew I would have to play well and for once I did :). I missed my first (and only) ball at 10-4 so it went to 10-5 and fortunately I managed to see it through to victory from there.

Many, many thanks to everyone who turned out for this tourney today on an Easter weekend. Well that's enough of warm ups... now we have to do it in Croydon for real.

Good luck everyone.

Thanks for that post Riggers makes me sound like a player lol You out played me in the final i couldnt do alot!! I miss cued a 6 ball at 10-5 down which killed me, if i won that rack it would of been my break i may of got back into it but you played very good!!

I need to sort my final fright out!! been in 3 finals and have been beat in all of them!! Need to sort that lol

Played good in the semis to beat mark and was very happy to beat him.. I have played him 3 times and couldnt get past 4 racks lol He is a great player :-)

Well played again mate and see you all in croydon cant wait!!!

Are there any more comprehensive results? Sorry to be asking so late but I'm nosey and I'm sure there's others who might like to know a bit more too!

If The Pro Shop keeps going like it is I might be able to come to a load more of these smaller events myself!

I'll email you a pdf with results Dave. It won't include the first round 'warm up' game because I don't have those results (except for the fact I lost to James), just the main single knockout.
