It is something that you have GOT to watch. I'm emotionally drained and I was just watching the smegging thing!

I said this to a couple of folk there and I'll say it here. To paraphrase the late, great Bill McLaren (a legendary rugby commentator for those who may not know) - I may not carry a hod, but I laid a few bricks in there tonight!

Well done lads! Really chuffed for you.

Best wishes

Awesome result...Can't believe I went out tonight at something like 1-1... Then I end up not speaking to anyone cos I'm glued to my iPhone watchin it unfold on here...

Thanks to everyone who posted

Can't believe Apple came back from 6-2 down (race to 7) despite what has been said about the deciding frame (2 scratches)... you have to be in that position in the 1st place.

Awesome result... but, same again tomorrow. All great players, with all different attributes. Proper Team

just quick post. didnt sleep too great hahahhaha.
last night was unreal atmosphere, excitiment it had it all. all the lads showed lot of heart and character to keep going in shootout evan china did too. 27-25 amazing coz the shot is a real tough shot. but for me the biggest thing for me as a massive sports fan who loves darts/tennis etc is what the shootout created. in pool you dont really get the chance to show your emotions off like in darts n tennis but the shootout really gives you that chance. im sure i speak for every player and every fan that was watching when i say this.

BRING THE SHOOTOUT INTO THE SINGLES GAME PLEASE..................

karl guapo boyes...............unreal

....The poached eggs tasted real nice this morning! lol
Absolutely amazing night of pool.....so proud of all my team mates, last night was something special that doesnt come around too often.
The spot shot itself is a tough, tough shot to start with even if you just spot it up in the club....in fact if you were left with the shot in a match you would never try to nip it in the corner pocket, probaly play a safe!
We all showed real Bulldog spirit and heart to even get to the shoot-out.
Then, in the shoot-out Mark was just the perfect opener for us....as was Li for them.....both made 9 out of 10 shots!.....an amazing stat under the circumstances.....even in practice that would be superb!
Karl made 7 out of 10, I made 6 out of 10, and Skip Daz made 5 out of 9 (didnt need his 10th poke)
Imran played a massive part in the shoot-out too, even though he didnt shoot, every shot he was there keeping us cooled and focused on each and every shot.
It was a real team effort.
When i was down on the final spot shot my heart was pounding....even more than when i won the world title!...mainly because its all for the team....no individuallity what so ever...awesome!
Massive well done to the Chinese....a real quality outfit!

So its Greece tonight in the semi's......we will be ready for this match when we get to the arena.....even after last nights historic win, the job is only half done....we all know we have to step up the pace now and make this happen!

Keep the support coming guys, as i speak for all of us when i say a big thankyou to you all, as it gives us a great feeling knowing that you are all behind us back home!

One last thing before i go.......i have to say that "the shoot-out" has to come into pool on a regular basis. The tension, passion, atmosphere, drama is just undescribable......this could be the life line that pool needs to get it up there with darts etc etc....awesome!

Dazzler.....ready to finish the job!
