ok time to up the commentary value.... :)

"and he we are folks, two modern day gunslingers in a race up the hill, with a prize that most of us could only dream of awaiting them... a place in the final and a chance to go down in history. Boom! 6-6

and here we are, rack 13, unlucky for some... but if Lady luck is in the building we would love her to smile upon the Dynamite.... but its a dry one... can Niels get himself on top again in this one?

go back a page to see the update..... i dont want to get in any trouble, but for those who missed it....

and he we are folks, two modern day gunslingers in a race up the hill, with a prize that most of us could only dream of awaiting them... a place in the final and a chance to go down in history. This gladitorial battle is ebbing and flowing, and if someone can muster up a sucker punch and get some rythmn.... and oh my goodness, the Terminator has shot himself in the foot, and just like a predator (see what i did there) Dynamite steps up and gives himself a chance to level this one up! as each ball drops is this the beginning of the fuse being lit on what could be an epic! here comes Dyno for the rack and.... Boom! 6-6

the blue touch paper is sitting there, who can light it up? Rack 13 goes the way of the Terminator.... is it a mortal wound or merely a glancing blow? Dyno is staring down the barrel and is 6-7 down, but anything can happen between now and the Eleventh heaven one of these players will reach.....

And the Terminator dry breaks!!! The last 3 have been dry, and who will reach the oasis in the desert first? He is taking his time, and elects a safety shot, safety first approach, and has left niels needing to pull something out of the hat here.... is there a magician in the building...... and that is a lovely shot from The Terminator, and Dynamite is snookered by at least 3 balls, as the eyes of the world look down... what can this seasoned pro pull out here?

Rack 14 turning into a war of attrition, the irresistable force and the immovable object are colliding in a war for the ages..... and we have a chance for the Terminator.. and with a piece of fortune the jaws of death have spat him out behind the 9, the 1 ball is still the one they want.... and Dynamite looks to the heavens as he rolls the 9 in... but it was not called! Niels has an opportunity here for a combination.... this could be a turn up for the books.. this rack is a minefield where there is danger at every turn, it is going to take something monolithic here to wrestle this away from the grasp of their opponent... this rack is the longest of the match so far.... a wonderful response from Dynamite... leaves Terminator in trouble... and despite a call in the corner, the 4 goes to the middle, so we bounce back to the Englishman.... they both look nervous out there, and neither will be happy with the way they are playing, but as we look upon this, this fascinating match up edges towards a conclusion... but what is this????? A Foul from Niels.... Dyno with a chance.... can he turn the tide?...

HE CAN!!! a nice combo on the 6-10 and we are at 7-7!

Rack 15 and the Darren blasts the break open and sinks 3! he has a shot on the one which drops, the 2 is not far behind, if he can hold his nerve here the Dynamite can blow this one wide open...

and BOOM!!!! 8-7, Dynamite gets his nose in front for the first time since rack one, on the horizon he can see the finish line, but when you have a terminator breathing down your neck that isnt so easy to reach. lets march on to rack 16

If the break of the Dynamite was food, it would be dripping in sugar sweet as it is.. but runs into trouble travelling from 1-2 and this is a tough one.. leaves it up for Niels, and yet another miss from the Terminator... who may be wanting to terminate himself after this match... a small chance here for the Dyno.. and he has set a huge trap for the man from Holland... who doesnt bring his cue to the table, merely surveying the wreckage, a jump attempt,... and so close! but even with a clear shot on this ball the Dynamite has problems... the next ball is glued to the rail with no way out... but THERE IS A WAY, to get himself out of the bubble of trouble, he brings out a mega double! and the shot on the eight is great, nine looks fine, and with the ten in the den the magic man Darren Appleton goes to within 2...
we are at 9-7!

Rack 17.. and a deuce off the break but runs into trouble, elects for a safety first but doesnt quite make it.. can Niels come up with anything to stem the tide? this is a tough one he has left for Darren, who shakes his head, surveys the scene, and unleashes a firestorm of safety in the direction of the Terminator, and the pendulum swings the way of the Englishman.... What a chance to go to within 1 of tomorrows final.. but NO!!!! Misses a shot on the 1 ball, and hands a gift to Niels... who finally gets a run going, but with only the 7 and 10 left on the table,,, he MISSES!!! Dyno steps up and lays down another watertight safety, with only 2 balls left, if Niels misses this, it could be the last shot he takes in the championship, bit it wont be because that is a beautiful shot off the rail, and the ten is dropped into the middle, Niels stops the rot and we are at
9-8 Dyno

I think the standard you usually get is so high that it is a little disappointing, Niels looks really nervous, here is hoping Daz can take this one

Rack 18 and this is where the men get separated from the boys (which is a good thing in todays climate) and Niels is stepping up to the plate here, given an opportunity, he is beginning to get the juggernaught moving... still with a little work to do he edges ever closer to levelling up the match.. and level it up he does... we are at 9-9 and Dynamite must be wondering if his chance has passed him by.. lets move on to rack 19...

with fire in his eyes Niels steps up to the table and blasts the balls, he has dropped one, but the balls are scheming against the breaker here, and not only do they have to battle nerves, pressure and low confidence, it would appear lady luck, who made a brief appearance earlier has upped and left, and taken Lord Luck with her, leaving behind their distant relatives Count and Countess frustration, and frustration turns to despair for Niels, if Dyno can keep control of this, the roadmap opens out and what an opportunity! All Daz has to do is take it one at a time, and he will take his place on the hill... but will this be the last twist.... I would love to think so but let us see.... and BOOM!!!!

10-9 to the Dynamite!!! COME ON THE DYNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
