Winners qulaification matches for the knockout stages:

Group A Peach v Kazuo Furuta (Japan)
Group B Majid v Hui-Chan Lu (Chn Taipei)
Group E Gray v Thorsten Hohmann (Germany)
Group G Appleton v Ruslan Chinahov (Russia)

For information purposes the initial groups are double elimination (exactly the same as the 9 Ball World Champs which Peach won).

Therefore a player needs to win two matches to qualify for last 64. 2 losses in the group and it's all over. 4 players will qualify from each group.

Well the phillipines is 8 hours ahead of us so if the time on the wpa-tour site is local time then the first matches would be at 3am GMT time

Hey guys, thanks for all the support. I agree about the Scottish vs British thing.. not sure what the organizers are doing here... I guess they don't know that Scotland is part of the UK... LOL :-) I might go ask them to sort themselves out... what would you all prefer, that we are all down as British, or that we are down as Scotland or England?

You should see something like this?

SopCast

If you double click on the video image it will expand to full screen!

It's dark, the commentators are mispronouncing the players names, the graphics tell you which rack they are playing but not what the score is... But it's fantastic, and Mark Gray is winning right now vs Toastie!!!

:D

However, Dave I can not seem to enlarge the screen....only icon to click takes me to sopcast homepage

IGNORE ME - DIDNT READ IT RIGHT.....WAS LOOKING FOR EXPANDING TYPE BUTTON, NOT JUST SIMPLE DOUBLE CLICK.....THANKS
