not a bad shout si, the game you mean is 2 man texas scramble...
i 've played it quite a few times and it is very good fun as well as being competitive...
see what numbers are like then we can pick the best format from there, cheers mate...

don,t get me started, topless caddies female that is and someone to pay for me, money is tight at the minute as you,ll probably understand what with the countrey in so called credit crunch time.i,m in the building industry a decorator to be precise and work is slowing down rapidly so every penny counts and if i worry anymore bout it i,ll go bald lol as soon as things pick up i,ll be sure to join in can,t beat a bit of army golf

I'll play off 28 too pal. Don't have a handicap cos not a member of a club and not played for many years so 28 should be about right if I remember the rules of the handicap system correctly.

31st July sounds perfect fella. I was a member at Herons reach in Blackpool for 2 years...but that was 9 years ago....my handicap was 12 then. Hardly played at all until last year (played about 6 rounds with Boyzi on an easy course) highest round was 93 and my lowest was 83.....other 4 were in high 80's. Have not swung a club for 11months though. lol ....................... Andy plays about the same as me......shoots around the 90 mark. Ok buddy, let me know whats happening once you have things in place. -----------------

Where have you choosen to play?
PS. Played with Phil burford today and he played off 28 and he had 35 points, so i think he may need a hcp adjustment.

going to ramside golf club today to find out prices for green fees, buggies, and accomodation... 18 holes then home might suit most of you i would suggest this to get the most out of your day... how about 18 holes (format to suit numbers) 10 ball ring game on the night bbq + beers overnight stay 18 holes in the morning presentation then home let me know what you think lads, the shout of 18 holes in scarborough before GB9 has been thrown in because of people already taking the day off. but i think it might be a bit much all in the same weekend.......
