peter, is there some how you can sort out 1 room for Paddy, Karl and I? I rang the recommended hotels you posted but don't seem to have any luck with room availability and language barrier.

Let us know

Cheers

Mohammed (Yogi)

Is Paddy coming? first I have heard of it!!!
I am sure that I could find you a room but like most hotels in the world they wont book it without credit card information.

You can call me on 00 34 678 274 552 or send me a PM

Just a reminder about this great event, entries will be closing in a couple of weeks, so if you are thinking of coming, get your skates on.

Surprising really, the biggest prize money (£8,000 first prize) that we have ever put up and the poorest response ever from the foreign players, so far only half a dozen are confirmed.
Should be easy pickings for one or two who are coming.
None of the top 20 of the Eurotour are entered, even Alcaide will have to sit and watch this one.

I think it's common to many events Peter. Maybe it's the recession biting!

.... the past 2 years we had Drago, Majid, Appleton, Peach, Alcaide and few more strong names... but the winners had spanish names: Cabello & Hebles. ;-)

Aah, that's the reason then, the foreign players are running scared of the Spanish!!!! Never thought of that.

Well it will be nice to see the money stay at home once again.

Yes but that was only a little tournament with 4,000 euros for the winner, we are talking now of 10,000 euros.
Glad to see that Boyzi is coming again for a stab at this prize money plus a few other superstars who have already entered,

We would still like some more big guns, the Spanish players are looking to avenge the defeat by Drake in 1588

Looking at the photos from the Southfields event reminded me to tell those who are coming to Spain soon that there is a dress code.
This is similar to that of the Eurotour.
Congratulations to Rico by the way, nice to see him competing and winning again.

One or two players haven't given me their flight details yet.
Please let me know when you are arriving so that I can send transport to pick you up.
