Not sure so correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you offered (and accepted) a spot originally by Shir many months back but then had to turn it down due to International Masters?

If that's case Shir would not allow entry into qualifiers for anyone who has ever been on the list for the special event.

can i put my name down for the qualifier then please mate as i didnt enter originally as i was under the impression the event would clash..... thankfully for me i can make the times.....

look forward to seeing you friday pals.....

Start times are as follows:

Special event qualifier: Friday 7pm
Main event Saturday: arrive at 9.30am or 10.15am (see draw tomorrow)
Special event: Saturday 7.30pm
Main event last 32: Sunday arrive by 11.30am

Please note the special event qualifier is not open to professional players or players of a standard befitting a direct entry into the special event. We would hope any such players would support the special event directly ;)

As mentioned in the Barnsley open thread the special event will now be a 10 ball ring game £250 entry, £25 per rack on the newly covered match table. Having all players battle it out on one table and Tv coverage from cuesportTV should make for a great event.

The special event qualifier on Friday will go ahead as normal. On the night we'll make a collective decision as to how many spots we should play for depending on how many turn up. Of course anyone can still enter the ring game direct by letting Shir know and paying their £250.
