This is a top quality tournament and anyone that can make it should come. The one last year was one of the best comp I have ever been to. The like of Imran and co and you have a great chance of taking them out with the handycap system. A must play in comp. And best of all with chris running the show, it runs like a well oiled machine.

Why the "King of the Hill" tournament was removed on the Calendar? Is it still gonna happen?

1 ball = 8 ball 2 ball = 7 ball 3 ball = 6 ball 4 ball = 5 ball 5 ball = 5 & 8 ball 6 ball = 5 & 7 ball 7 ball = 4 & 6 ball 8 ball = 4,6 & 8 ball 9 ball = 3,5 & 7 ball
Now its the ball difference between you and your opponent i.e if you are 3 and your opponent is a 6 thats a diference of 3 balls so you give your opponent the 6 ball. He now treats the 7 ball like a 9 ball giving him two nine balls on the table. You pot the balls as normal all 9 ball rules still apply. If you were playing some one like Imran majid who is on a -1 thats a differenc of 4 balls you would get the 5 ball. Surely someone could just lie and say they can only pot 3 balls when they can really run 5 racks?what will happen if that does happen? what happens if Imran was facing someone with a 7 or 8 handicap..doers that mean they have to pot 2 balls to win?

nobody can just lie because, like me, anybody who is unknown by the tournament officials will start on a +1 handicap.
If Imran played against somebody with a +8 handicap, assuming he was -1, that would mean that if his opponent potted either the 3, 5, 7 or 9 ball then they would win the rack (except on break)

If you have paid your deposit then you still have to be there at 11am to register. players who have paid there deposit will already been allocated into a group. Prize Money will be paid down to the last eight.

Please when you are paying by paypal can you add 60p to the total i.e. if you are paying a £10 deposit then it should be £10.60, if you are paying £30 entry fee then it should be £30.60. I know it does not sound alot but if you have 10 players not paying the 60p surcharge then it mounts up to £6 coming out of my pocket and Im sorry but im not paying players to enter into tournaments. So please do remember to pay the surcharge thanks Chris Billings. [ This message was edited by: Blackref on 2007-11-26 22:30 ]

I think handicapped comps are great when you first start playing the game as it gives you a chance to beat people of a higher standard than you. You can learn a lot from playing these kind of comps. You can't beat taking out a decent player in a level match though. I used to play an evil handicapped comp in east london and it was great fun.
