PARKING!

Does anyone know where the cheapest and closest place to park is for this event.

Been there before but had a bit of a hike from car park.

Cheers

56 runners, reclothed tables, everything ran smoothly, nice club... We even watched Mick Hill playing his English Pool World Championship SemiFinal match of the Big Screen Projector!!!

It's been played down to the last 16 - I'm in Nottingham with my camera, I'll have more info on the website by tomorrow morning.

Watching Lee play Gareth at the moment!

All the best,
Big Dave.

cheers daz, plaid my best match against you i think over the weekend, think its a bit like when teams play Man Utd mate, they just give it that extra 15% effort to try and compete and get a result. Consider that a massive compliment of respect Mr Peach. :)

Did well to recover against Mr Lawrenson from 5-1 behind in the semi too.
the final wasnt really a classic to be honest.
i feel that i could have won the final 11-5/6 if i had of taken advantage of more situations early on and im sure Karl will probably feel that he could have won by a similar margin..

Spectators said it was a good final to watch and that there wasnt much missed, but myself and Karl will both tell you we made mistakes and were both victims of a dead bottom rail? lol

made a monstrous kick in the deciding rack, made the ball down the bottom rail but the spin took the cueball in off at the top of the table.

unfortunate but looking back, the game was lost for me at 0-0 when i shuold have won both of Karls break offs - would have been 4-0 up...

Well plaid Karl, a massive jump shot at 9-9! PHUFF!
Tipped you at the Quart final stages to reach the final.

Cueing ok. Happy with the weekend performances. Especially pleased for my mate Phil Morgan who played out of his skin this weekend beating Jon Mathers and narrowly losing to Kev Hew in the last 16. WP mate.

See you all at the next one.....

PS - well plaid gareth in the money match! missd 1 ball i heard. Jackpot.
Comisserations Lee.

Hey no worries oz.......credit where its due mate.

When i was on my way home in the car i was asking myself why i lost......my conclusion.........

........i messed a couple of chances up early on (bit like your final maybe?), didnt really get a shot at the 1ball off my breaks, and you didnt really make a mistake to be honest......the best player won in that match.

Dont get used to it though pal.......1 win is plenty enough against me!! hahahahahahaha.

Well done.

Dazzler.......the approach shot into the green is key!
