The Barnsley Open 8 ball event in June was excellant with a great turnout but this one (9 Ball) will be even better. Rileys Barnsley are again adding £250 to the prize fund for the weekend. This time everyone who enters the main event will get even better value for money because they will play in groups all day Saturday up to early evening for a chance to qualify for the business end of the tournament on day 2. Then on Saturday night you can take your chance in the straight pool challenge, speed pool challenge, and have a beer or 2 while you watch 8 pros battle it out for £4000. Following which a trip round town with the rest of us is a must! On Sunday, you'll either be playing single knockout in the final stages of the main event or if you didn't make it through you can play in the plate which will have a generous prize fund with money added. The match table will be recovered with the new Z9 tournament cloth being used extensively on tours in Europe, Canada and the US. This is probably the final big event of the year and definately one not to be missed. We look forward to seeing you all there. P.S. Don't leave hotels to chance and end up staying too far from the venue. Contact me early and I'll sort you out. [ This message was edited by: shir on 2007-10-02 09:44 ]
