I think group 5 is the toughest to call, Adam Clarke is obviously the favourite but second place could go to anyone else. I reckon rack difference could be the key in that one.
Look out for the guy using the club snooker cue!!

Think Tony Burton is going to have a strong chance in going through group 5, i still dont really know many players so i cant really say.
As another point is anyone going from the essex are that has 1 space in a car? one of my friends was going to go with one of his mates, but his car has broken down and if he can't find a way then i'll have to kick some1 out of mine who was only coming to watch.
Any chance anyone? meet somewhere in the morning?

I really gotta commend the organisers on the format. It gives everyone a good chance to get their hands on the table and get used to playing tournament play. That's why so many great players are showing up, it gives their talent a chance to shine. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Hopefully I can spring a few runs together but yes, tough to get over the top two in my group, but it will be fun trying. LOL.
Here's an interesting one, (well I think so) who may be the surprise package? There's always one normally!

No dress code but we are now going to use the three point rule on the break.
I will try and let people know but can everyone try and spread the word please.

Craig Hirst has had to withdraw from the event, This leaves group 2 with only 4 players. Therefore when i get there in the morning all the 18 players in groups 5 - 6 and 8 will be put into the hat again and 1 will be moved into group 2.
This is an unfortunate way to have to sort this but it doesn't seem right to have one group of four and three groups of six.

Sorry Adam, I have already turned someone down today so it wouldn't be fare to let someone else in now.
I will have to stick to moving someone from one of the groups of six.

Just got back - great tourny Kev as usual.
When I left Tom Emes was playing Kev Simpson in one semi and I think Ossie was waiting for the winner in the final.
