Well done Dazzler, will tell you in person when I see you later. I missed the match, it was getting a bit late for me, I watched David get a lesson in pool from the maestro Django and then went back to my hotel. I had an accident the day before and ended up in hospital, nothing serious and could have been worse but my feet and arm were hurting and I decided to go and rest. darn, missed the best result ever for a Brit, Hope to see yuo in action today, and to Karl of course, another Brit through to the last 32

You know what guys......your comments and support on here are the best!.....it makes a big difference when i see my fellow players (and none players) right behind me......and it means a lot to me! I just wish more of you guys were here to witness this atmosphere.....the arena is magical.....they still have the original banners up from the "Thriller in Manila" fight. Last night there was probably around 1200 to 1400 spectators for that match and the noise was superb....so i cant even begin to imagine the atmosphere when Ali beat Frazer all those years ago! I said to Boyzi earlier in the day when we were talking about my match...."this is the reason why i play pool....for chances like this....so i wont bottle it or anything of the sort....im gonna take it all in and enjoy the situation!" Thats what i did and this time it was my turn to enjoy victory.
Talking of Boyzi....he plays a Korean guy with Dennis Taylor style glasses today.....i dont wanna jinx him but its a dream last32 draw!.....i have already had a few quid in him. I was talking with Imran, Craig, Des, and we all agreed that he was the pick of the round for a bet.....
Dazzler.....Proud to be british!

Awesome performance yesterday Dazzler, probably the performance of the event so far given the circumstances of that match. Boyzi too is making us proud so keep going boys and show 'em what you're made of!

I didnt know the score of the match until late last night because i wanted to watch the match as i had recorded it on sky +. I kept peeking onto the forum but not on any threads as i did not want to spoil it for myself (i also dodges text messages from one of my friends trying to tell me the scores lol)
When i saw the amount of posts on this thread alone (nearly doubled while Dazzler was on) i thought that something good was going on. I cannot believe how well Daryl played, absolutly awsome stuff man, keep going like that, and that break was just immense.
Well done fella, all the best luck for every Brittish lad left in it (and any playing for fun/money lol)

Yes, good luck to Darren too as he plies his trade in the famous Oneside club. Last I heard he'd won 5 lost 2, is well up in the $$$ and has a big one coming up soon.

Well done to both Dazzler and Boyzi on great performances so far.
What chance one of the brits getting the final mosconi team spot on the back of these results?

Yeh, forgot about that. So many players in with a chance - Mika, Oliver, Nick, Imran, Vilmos, Fabio etc but Daryl must surely have given himself a great chance now. And if the place does go to the highest placed european then Boyzi comes into the frame. If you had to list the top 5 players in order of likely bookies favourites to get the spots what would your order be? Mine as follows:
1. Ortmann 2. Peach 3. Van Den Berg 4. Immonen 5. Foldes
...head talking there not heart

i dotn know, ortman has been playing well, but we'llhave to wait and see. It'd be nice for the Dazzler to return to the Mosconi cup scene, he has said he would like to

Shane Van Boening has just gone out of the WPC 10-8 at the hands of Vilmos Foldes. What a great result for the europeans
