Hi guys,Mark here just lost to Immonen in the last 16 but with the horror draw ive had here got to be happy!!!! Was 2-0 up but missed a makeable 8-ball in 3rd rack then never got back to table until i was 5-2 down as he decided to run 5 racks on me!!!! Ended up 4-9.
Just watched the end of Daz Appletons match, his name may be on the trophy as his oppenent Kawabata was 8-7 up and botched a very easy dish to close out the match!,then at hill hill after a mare of a break from Daz scratching in off,Kawabata has a road map and some how messed up!!!! Lol!! But thats pool!!-Just wish someone wud do that against me!!!! But anyway gud luck to Daz for rest of comp.
Me and Daryl got a couple more days here then fly straight to Holland where hopefully we can bring the trophy back for England,c u all soon

                                Mark.

thanks

unlucky to mark

just like to say

i was up 5-3 and then i had lot of bad luck and him good luck to go 7-5 i dug in got back to 7-7 both made mistake at 7-7..8-7 him then i played bad positional shot after knocking in a great one ball i snooker him he kicked the 6ball in full lengh of table but landed bad on the 7ball he had a tough shot on the 7ball and missed it...

at 8-8 i broke great the whole game except last rack went for control and made a mess of it and scracthed in top bag.. he had pretty easy finish but just the 7ball to think about he didnt land on it way he wanted he tweaked the 7ball but potted it but was lucky to not snooker himself on 8ball behind 9ball.. he had thin cut to top bag very missable 50/50 shot and thankfully for me he did and rest is history..

like to say yes ive had little bit of luck in deciders this time...but i feel i played better than my opponents in all my matches they made more mistakes and got the rolls for most part...but thankfully am pleased ive hung in there and battled away and feel got rewards for it... but there been plenty of times in my career in past where have lost 9-8s in world champs qfs finals. final of english pool... world 10ball champs 2 years ago 11-10 last 16.. world 9ball 2006 8-7.. brutal draws myself in past events...

so i was due a break in a world championships and i havent played any bad players from last 64 all very good... the korean prob the weakest but that was my best match to date consistantly...

anyway i said at start no matter who u are u need to play good and get some luck at the right times and thats what happened to me .. so am thankful and hopefully it will continue for 3 more matches .. but looking no further than charlie williams because he playing very good himself..

thanks for support really helps... hopefully tmrw be even better day ...

least race to 11s now which better :-)

I know you were happy Dyno but you didn,t have to wrestle me to the floor and give me carpet burns.

On a different note though, I have seen lots of the bad rolls over the last few years, through thick and thin, and to win a major like this you need some luck.

Bring home the bacon Daz you deserve it. What ever happens tomorrow you have still won.
