Something very fishy about the voting here. Have you used the Zimbabwean presidential elections as your inspiration Dave?

I agree, I reckon the person who came up with Earl demanded a recount and then out of the blue they get another 50% of the vote! According to the rules of this poll, Mark doesn´t have a choice.
"I've also just spoken to Mark and he's way up for it! He's gonna send me a PM with half a dozen options chosen from this thread that he doesn't mind and then he agrees to abide by the Pro9'ers decision!"

Like that one Mal....original suggestion!
He better hurry up and decide - not long til the Masters!
I spoke with him last night and he said he played well in 1st round match - he is sort of looking forward to playing the 9 Ball legend Mr Orcullo!
I think he may have his work cut out - suppose he needs to get off to a good start.

Has the vote finished now???
I see The Marksman edged the vote by a couple of points. Unsure on the original agreement that was discussed?? - is this now Marks official nickname???
I see the other lads got through to the losers qualification round...got some tough draws.
I think Daz is playing Corey Duel again, Chris has got Gabica and Dazzler has got Lofty......unless they re-draw and mix them all up - not sure.
Mark got Dennis at 17:00 BST this evening - it's gonna be a toughie for him...
Anyways, good luck to all the guys and lets see if we get all the brits into the last 32 SE.

Daz should have Jasmin, he couldn't have Corey again.

There is no sceince to my madness....quite amateurish really!!!
All I did was look at the draw, notice Daz played third bottom and won his L1 round, and Corey lost WQ match to Marcus which was also thrid bottom......I just wrongly assumed as Daz is already pencilled in the LQ round as third bottom match, that Corey would be drawn there as well.

Nope, that should move diagonally across the draw from winners to losers. It does get a bit confusing

Dave,
I have sent you a PM on the back of a conversation with Mark....
He has finally decided on his nickname - I am told it will not be The Marksman.

When the thread started, I think Mark originally agreed as he was rushing around as he was off to dubai..
Having had time to think, numerous conversations with The Dazzler, he finally decided on Mark "THE DIAMOND" Gray.....
ONLY JOKING - not the Diamond!!!!
The name he has decided on is quite apt of his style of play and approach.

You can't choose your own nickname! I reckon he's gone back on the deal He'll always be the marksman to me from now on

I agree with Riggers, you can't pick your own nickname. "The Marksman" it should be. What was the point of this thread?? ----------------- Andy Warden, GB9 - Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor √ [ This message was edited by: cueman on 2008-04-22 17:46 ]
