Chris Buckmaster is in Spain playing in the Euro Tour and after a bit of badgering has, reluctantly it has to be said, agreed to let me cut and paste the interesting bits of our conversation this evening into the forums. Hopefully it'll make an interesting read straight from someone who is out there and playing in the event. What's the weather like in Spain at the moment?"Yeah not bad, a bit chilly in the evening but it hasn't been too bad." How's it going?"My results have been good, had I beat Phil I would have qualified for the final stages, but my performances have been veeeery average, so I'm surprised I got as far as I did." Have you played a ten ball Euro Tour before? Aren't the races to 7 a bit short?"I've not played a 10ball Euro Tour before. The races are too short, most take around an hour although you are getting the odd match which is taking slightly longer. Most of the matches are getting put on in good time so they should probably really think about increasing the races, as quite a few have mentioned that they should be lengthened." Who looks dangerous?"Scott (Higgins) played awesome against Babica, spanked him 7-0!" Any surprises?"A few new faces in the final stages I haven't seen before." What was Beth's exhibition of photos like?"Yeah it is good, they are displayed along a walkway inside the venue, some really funny ones." What's the hotel like?"The hotel is not as nice as last year's, but the table layout is really good." Do you do the tourist thing while you're visiting all these places? Do you have time for that, or is it just pool, pool, and more pool?"Pool, pool, pool. I have been down by the marina a few times with Andy (Lester) and James (O'Malley) for food etc, But mostly been inside the venue as I have actually managed to stay in the tournament for quite a while in this one." Who do you think could win it?"It's still wide open for me regarding the winner." I'd just like to thank Chris again for allowing me to post this! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2009-12-05 05:19 ]

Hi All,
I can not seem to find pool coverage on BWIN - can anyone advise if it is supposed to be on or is there no coverage for this Eurotour stop??

BWIN have often been busy covering a multitude of football matches on Saturdays although having said that their coverage of the Euro Tour has been getting less and less lately - I understand it's because they simply can't find anyone to give them good odds on the matches. You CAN bet on the PUKKA PIES UK CHAMPIONSHIP snooker match between Gerrard Green and Shaun Murphy - LIVE BETTING right now on Bwin! -0- If you just want to watch the closing stages of the Euro Tour you can pay - not sure there are many matches left though.
