the weather is turning so i if there is enough interest i am going to organise a gb9 tour players golf comp...

It would probably be based in the north sometime in the next 12 weeks...

not sure how many of you play but am sure there are a few..

have done these sorts of events before and they are always a cracking day regardless of who ends up winning.

also there is a possibility of tieing this in with some pool action afterwards if thats what people want...

post to show your interest and i can take it from there...

adam......

PROVISIONAL ENTRIES ARE...

     NAME                        HANDICAP

1)ADAM SMITH                     6
2)DARYL PEACH                    14
3)ANDY WORTHINGTON         14
4)SI WIDLO                         13 (el bandito)
5)PHIL BURFORD                 24
6)KEV TAYLOR                     9
7)CRAIG DIXON                    28
8)CRAIG OSBORNE                28)

I will definately be up for a round and some pool afterwards.

Where would you be thinking of playing? Slaley, Wynyard even Ramside its right next door to you and its a good test and easy to get too for everyone.

probably slaley i think as its prestigous and tough, but ramside could work as its very accesible and a great venue too...

am making a list on my first post of provisional names including handicaps so if everyone interest can state their name and handicap this would be helpful....

adam.......

Pairs sounds like the shot for max entertainment, maybe betterball?

i.e. both tee off, take best ball, both hit from there and so on... lowest score wins, everyone gets a good crack and a good day out...
