There not proper pros anyway. 90% havnt earned the right to be called a pro and any tom thingy or Harry can enter the pro division if they stump up the cash. Your never going to keep everyone happy but I do agree with andy Morris comments.

Andy makes some good points, I think most pros will enter anyway because most of them cash in at each event regardless.

I understand there needs to be some incentive to play in the pro division but as it stands the pro's are basically contributing nothing to the running costs (£1500/event) and about £200 of the £3850 main event pot.
The amateurs are paying all the running costs and almost all the main event prize fund which is mostly won by the pro's?!
Doesn't seem right to me.

As I have said previously, of course Challenge players are going to pay most towards the tour income (from which running costs and prize money are distributed) as there are 80 of them and only 16 Pro's (paying a very hefty premium).
Set up was very similar this season and we struggled to get 13 pros for most of the season which left us with a big shortfall to manage. We are certainly not going to change the model to further discourage people from asking to join the Pro division.
This is my last post on this subject, if you want to discuss further please email.

Ok Andy, we can leave it here and agree to disagree. I will email you if I get time because I don't think you see where I am coming from, im not talking about amateurs putting in more as you say that is obviously going t be the case.
What I am saying is that all pro entries go to the pro tournament whereas the amateur money goes to the challenge events and the main event and the running costs. it is about distribution of entries that's all.
over and out.

Can't believe that with only just over 4 weeks remaining we are only just over a quarter way there! Where have all the 9 ball players gone?!?!? If you want to experience a fantastic weekend playing on the best equipment in the best hotel venues then get your names down and deposit paid...
This is the only way to improve your game playing the best players in the UK off scratch!!
Let's keep this tour going!!

Hi, I am interwsted in signing up for 2015. Have just started playing 9/10 ball again. Have decided to give it more attention as have been spending time in the states. Have ditched the long loved paris snooker cue (7mm) and am currently borrowing a fairly naf cue from a phillipino guy at the local hall. Anyone know where I can pick up a decent cue (for ex snooker) at a reasonable rate? I'm in the south london / surrey area. Thanks in advance. Will

33 signed up so far so we are 1/3 of the way there!! As Mark rightly says we expect most players to leave it to the last minute as normal.
Hopefully we will get a good deal of applications and deposits at the event next weekend.

I can't get there until 6pm on the Friday for 4 out of the 5 events as I am restricted to school holidays. Could anything be done to delay my first matches? Surely other people might join if they dont need to take a holiday on the Friday??? Failing that - sign me up for the August event only

Hi Jordy, unfortunately our tight match schedule means we have to start around 3 or 4pm.
