He did say he would if he wasn't doing anything but he wasn't sure he'd get given a spot in the masters. I'll give this a miss I think as I think I'm going to Nottingham to watch.

As its scotch and from some of the results last year we saw it's a massive leveler. This year we are trying to reduce the handicaps as some last year were to heavy and as it's 50% shots each it's not fair to calculate on full ability. We have still added smaller handicaps. So the chart below was decided as the fairest way. handicaps of -6 or -7 combined = -1 Handicaps of -5 -4, -3 -2 combined = 0 Handicaps of -1 0 +1 +2 combined = +1 all higher handicaps = +2 [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2014-10-23 15:06 ]

Imo should be as below given that a -3 and -2 pair can't be off level
-5-6-7 = -2
-4-3-2 = -1
-1,0 = 0
+1, +2 = +1

I will look into this Del. I was just trying to keep handicaps simple as we saw last year there were some surprise results and the feedback was... to much handicapping spoiled it as you don't really know how players will perform in a team.
