Morning, what’s peoples opinion on an idea Courtney Symons had... England North and England South? This would create a rivalry between the two teams, also both teams would be of similar strength. This would also mean there would be qualifiers in the North and the South meaning all players have a chance to qualify no matter where they live.
Opinions please

I think that's a better idea as people up north are put off with the traveling.

I like that idea of north and south but if u do that I think one wild card to be selected after qualifiers and the wild card has to of entered the qualifiers fairest way to do it I think

IMO the northern section if they were all still playing would take some stopping. Ben finch Mark singleton Matt lawrenson Eric dockerty Shane Appleton Mark Lunn.
Saying that the south have strength too. Really can't see England been pushed in this but what a fantastic idea

Time to take your chance to represent your country in this fantastic event. Only players already selected are Courtney Symons and Mark Lunn. All other selects will be made from this qualifier so get your names down and prove you have what it takes.

Ok so after a week away im back. This event will now all be held on the Saturday to save players hotel or extra travel money. There will be two events played on the Saturday with places in the England teams at both events. Players reaching the later stages in the first event will be seeded into the later rounds of the second event.
It will be still £15 for 1 event or £25 for both. Players paying £15 will be entered into event 1 and not event 2.
So get signed up and gain your place in the England team

Hi Phil,
Can I ask is it two tournaments played on the same day (Sat) at St. Albans, one after the other? And how does the seeding work? Are you using the T9B ranks so far this season for seeding, or what?
Also, how are you determining which of the qualifiers goes into England A and which into England B?
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris, Yes Seeded by overall T9B performance. Each Qualifier will have places in both Eng A and Eng B. Yeah two qualifiers in one day both played at St Albans so you have two chances. The further you get in Event 1 the better seeding in Event 2. Are you going to come along and show some magic like you have done at the last 2 events Chris?

Hi Phil, Yeah, put me down for both events please. Haha, magic? I'm too inconsistent to promise I'll manage to pot anything - we'll see on Sat . Cheers, Chris
