This March in Guangzhou, the 11th China Guangzhou International Billiards Exhibition (GBE 2017) again honored its promise to deliver a world-class event to the billiards industry.

With a show floor of 9,000 square meters, GBE 2017 saw an extraordinary visitor turnout of 12,000 person-times with an exhibitor turnout of 103 renowned brands, including Rasson, Shender, Predator Group, Strachan 6811, Simonis, Aramith, McDermott Cue, Laili, Rising Dragon, Jianying Billiards, Xingjue Billiards, Riley, Wiraka, Les-Sports, CYCLOP Pool Balls, Ball Teck Korea, Cosmos Billiards, Leqi Shukang Textile, Sunray, B.L.P., SZX, Xingbaom, etc. What’s more, this year Magnum from USA and Lucifer Cue from Thailand have finally made their first debut at GBE as our exhibitors.
Orders Pouring in From Domestic and Oversea Professional Buyers
During the 4-day exhibition, thousands of deals were closed on site. For example, with a promotion strategy of free shipping, Cyclop sold over 3000 sets of billiards balls to distributors from Beijing, Korea, etc, in just two days. TOP Billiard Studio managed to renew its agency contract with McDermott Cue and later bulk purchased as usual from the Chinese agents of Mezz, Kamui, Zan, and G2. Guangdong Denglong Guangdian reached a sponsorship agreement with International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF), becoming the table lights supplier of all IBSF billiards events.
A Diverse Range of Forward-thinking New Products
Among the regular exhibits like billiards tables, billiards board (stone), billiards cloth, billiards pole bags, billiards baskets, billiards balls, cues, chalk, lighting, tripod, special gloves, accessories, etc, out stood a wide range of forward-thinking new billiards products. For instance, Leshi presented to us the first smart billiards cue in China, which was designed to be used with their VR technology platform, enabling you to play virtual billiards whenever and wherever you wanted. Predator Cues’s groundbreaking billiards shaft REVO, made from carbon fiber composite, was highly waterproof and durable. Specially made to cope with outdoor environment, the latest billiards tables from Biaoli was made of waterproof materials from top to bottom.
Brilliant Speeches From Industry Experts at 2017 World Billiards Development Forum
On March 9, domestic and oversea esteemed speakers delivered splendid speeches at 2017 World Billiards Development Forum. They shared the operation experience and prospects from several aspects with the aims of deepening the interaction and integration of billiards industry, enhancing the development of billiards ecological circle. A large audience gathered to exchange ideas and seek cooperation opportunities at the Forum, including famous international and nationwide associations, enterprise managers and billiards manufacturers, leaders of governments, industry elites, professional billiards media, etc. All 200 chairs for the audience were occupied and dozens of people stood on the aisles on both sides, craning their necks to get a closer look of the stage.

Celebrated Billiards Players Won Resounding Applause With Amazing Performance
During the exhibition, a batch of top notch billiards players were invited to demonstrate their dazzling billiards skills, winning the admiration of numerous billiards enthusiasts and almost turning the trade show into a fan meeting. Star billiards players on site included the billiards genius Mr. Florian Khloer, Mr. Chen Qiang(Champion of CBSA Pool International Open), Mr. Zheng Yuxuan, Mr. Zhang Shuchun, Miss Kelly Fisher(Winner of Ladies World Snooker Championship), Miss He Xinru, Mr. Fan Zhisong, and so forth.
IDA International Darts Championships (Guangzhou)
Billiards and darts are two closely related sports, and that was why the GBE Committee though a darts competition would be a complement to a good billiards trade show. This year, in cooperation with International Darts Association (IDA), the GBE Committee took up the organization of IDA International Darts Championships & 2017 Sipuls·Grandeur Cup Aida Darts Tour (Guangzhou). This competition in total attracted near 100 professional and amateur contestants and the winner of this competition got an 8000 RMB prize money.
