Can't wait for this one!
Everyone now seems to be writing Dixon off, lets not get carried away because of one bad performance here, I agree Lee is slight favourite but i have experienced first hand how good Craig can be for money! If he finds that form then it will be a cracker....
Good luck guys, i'm looking forward to the hand shake at the end more than anything!

I agree with all those comments. Agree that Craig is dangerous and its crazy to write him off due to one bad performance. I also agree that he's probably still favourite if he hits the form we know he's capable of.

None of it makes any difference to me because I will just do what I do, try my best and what will be will be.

I am sure it will be a cracking game and I hope plenty of people turn up in person to watch it because the atmosphere is sure to be awesome.

You won't break me. Even if you win it won't break me.

Dog beat me (just) after a tough battle but it didn't break me. It just just made me realise I had a lot more training to do to reach the standard needed. And I'm slowly getting there.

CRAIG DIXON ANSWERS
1 - the match is happening because 1 lee issued the challenge, 2 I fed up of watching my previous matchs back and listening to lee pull my game to pieces !!

2 - lee isn't a bad player, but he isn't the best player like he starting to make out he is !! Lee had a good game before his unfortunate illness and credit where credits due to get back to the standard where's he's at he has done well.

3, I prefer longer races and personally I think any1 can win a short race where in a long race the luck factor will even it's self out and the class will shine through - as you all will see on the 11th june !!

4 - no, maybe clash of personality i don't no I just know were not. .
Craig Dixon 26 May at 09:37 Report
5- I don't practice half as much as i should but I know my self how much time I have to out in before a match.

6 - it's common knowledge I prefer money games, I'm not saying I dis like tournament but it's hard to find consistency with decent events, you won't get me scrapping about on a sat or Sunday afternoon in a event with 10-15 players for a prize what won't even cover your expenses for the day, people say it's good practice but I feel there's more enjoyable things to spend a day doing. Maybe that's my lack of dedication and why I don't do as well as other on the tour etc. .
Craig Dixon 26 May at 09:51 Report
7 - true, defo a grudge match and every1 who knows us both or are in similar circles knows this, , its mainly a grudge match because of lees lack of respect for my game, I'm going to finally prove a point and have done with it once and for all.

8- no one can be 100% certain of winning a match because it's pool, but I'm 99.9% certain. Lee going to be like a fish out of water when the day arrives !!

9- I don't know as I useless with technical things but I hope so as I feel there's a lot of interest in the match and will good viewing. I no lee knows a bit about the streaming side of things so maybe he will set it up.

10- lee deep down is a good bloke and as done a lot for pool in England but far to opinionated and biased towards certain individuals for my liking. Once the match is over we will go our separate ways once and for all and that will be that !!

LEE RIGBY ANSWERS
. First of all why the match.
Craig & me had a match arranged a few months ago for £100 at a time when I
was trying to find my way back into the game. But Craig pulled out on the
morning of the match claiming he had to work. He did engage in a lot of
silly banter in an attempt to hide the fact he chickened out of the match,
which I found a bit annoying. Then we eventually agreed a new match for
more money on Craig's terms. I just want to play so I agreed but I realised
subsequently I should have agreed to a fairer deal i.e. with a home and away
option. I went back and asked for that but Craig refused and, as I'd alreay
agreed the single match at his venue, I obviously stand by that and am now
I'm very much looking forward to the match.

2. How do you rate your opponent.
He's a very strong player and seems to like the money matches especially.

3. Do you like playing long races.
I prefer long races because at the end of the match there can be no
complaints about one player having more luck than the other and the best
player will almost always come out the winner in the end.

4. Are you friends off the table.
We used to be good friends but there have been a few incidents since then
which has made the relationship difficult. The last few years he's engaged
in a relentless and at times vicious vendetta against me publicly. There
was no need for it and some of the things said were very hurtful. I fought
back and the bitterness seemed to ensue from there. More recently Craig has
appeared more mild or quiet with his comments on the forums and has tried to
use this to make out he's the victim and 'just does his talking on the
table'. That won't really wash with people who remember his behaviour from
months gone by but if he really has changed his behaviour then obviously
that's a good thing.

5. How often do you practice.
This last 10 months I've had to practice a lot because I obviously couldn't
play at all this time last year so I've basically had to knuckle down and
relearn how to hit the ball. I now play about 2 or 3 times a week but am a
firm believer that it's quality not quantity that matters. I always try and
get myself match sharp by playing the best players I can find. I
deliberately play for money against players who should beat me as I think
it's money well spent and I'll get it back in the long run. After my
matches I analyse where the weaknesses are and spend some time on my own
just concentrating on those areas. I'm no great player and probably never
will be but this method has helped me get some sort of game back in a
relatively short space of time given the difficult circumstances I found
myself in after my illness.

6. Do you prefer money games to tournaments.
I just like to play so have no particular preference. The better the player
and the higher the pressure the more I enjoy it. I'd love to play on GB9
again but obviously my commitments to the tour mean that's not feasible at
the moment. Most other tournaments are held on Sundays, which is a day I
like to reserve for family so there are not that many tournaments I can
enter. I've entered 5 this year and finished 1st, joint 1st, joint 1st,
2nd, 2nd and 5th. My record in money matches must be quite good because I
can't remember how many I've won but can count on one hand the number I've
lost.

7. People are saying this is a grudge match true or false.
Probably true to the outsider but to me it's just another match I have to
prepare properly for and then go and do my best.

8. How certain are you of winning this match.
I don't think of it like that. I think about how confident I am that I can
play my best pool over a long race. As long as I do that I can't complain.
I'm confident I'll play well but I'm also expecting Craig to lift his game
for this match so it should be a cracker.

9. will it be streamed live.
I think it will be live on the VegasBar Ustream channel. I had some
techncial problems with bandwidth and the connection when streaming the
recent £100 a man event but I've done some more testing and I think I can
make the stream more reliable next time by turning down the FPS a little.

10. What are your real thoughts on your opponent.
He's a very good player but like I said, I'm preparing to win a pool match
so I don't think about my opponent. I can only work on my own game
