I thought snooker and 9ball pool are two diffrent ball games ? I have only started playing 9ball 3 months ago likes of Mark lunn and Harris ali could confirm this for you , I don`t think i`m any better then some of the other cat 4 players like for example Sam hirst Harris ali Liam etc , I have been given fair rating by Andy, People need to get over this fect that just bcos some1 is good at snooker he can also walk all over experienced pool players . I can`t be going out there playing against cat3 players when i don`t even know how to play jump shot properly lol iav got long way to go yet , I`m sure thats understandable !!

Sorry Omar I don't know you but this is trash. Nicky Hayes had apparently been playing pool less than 3 months when I played him in May, yet I was told he wasn't that good a snooker player either. He could jump, he knew how to break and he had SOME knowledge. Mike Gibney had no knowledge but went on a massive MMTV run starting off with less experience than you... Here's a clue for you - even the category 2s cant jump and hit what they want consistently. And jumping is not the end of the world anyhow. At an absolute minimum you have to be a 3 same as Phil Wildman who is in very similar position. There is no way you can be against 4's who chop balls. Let's see, Stephen Hendry doesnt play 9-ball and he's a 147 guy, shall we put him as a category 3 or 4? Total lunacy and this is the kind of robbing that puts me off MMTV because you cannot trust anybody.

LOLZZZZZZ My goodness this is bare jokes how can you even compare a local snooker league player to Hendry or even Phil Wilman whos a full time snooker players . I dont know what they told you about Nicky but i av heard hes a very good snooker player and he played 5 mmtv matches as cat 4 before he got moved up to cat 3 . Forget it its pointless seen as you all started crying over it i`ll come back when i genuinely think i`m good enough to play as cat 3 . bye for now !!

So being able to knock in a 147 means absolutely nothing then? Is that what you are trying to say? If somehow I am wrong which I often seem to be then forgive me but you can't expect to be same level as the likes of Macca, Elliot Sanderson or Liam Waterworth. Not if you've knocked in a maximum at snooker. Congratulations on that feat by the way, my highest break in Snooker is only 33 and I was a category 4...

Omar yeah he can knock a century in at snooker but some players don't adapt to the game as good as others. Yeah dont get me wrong he could be awesome, but at the moment, Alex McElhatton is a tough game for him to take on. As you all know its not just about the cue arm its about how you handle the game too, and for his first money game a 4, 5 x champion is a tough game. Edit: He played Liam Waterworth for cash a couple of weeks ago.... Close game if i recall? Bean? [ This message was edited by: The_Lunn on 2011-12-20 09:16 ]

LOL i have watched omar play in the club twice in long sessions omar and liam waterworth are bout same level at 9ball, alex would be slight fav against him no disrespect omar, And jamie would be too strong at this moment in time, I think the rating you have is a fair one at this time.

In that case I offer a sincere apology to Omar it's just hard to fathom someone knocking in maximums being a cat 4 that's all.

Yeah Omar beat me 21.16 but definitely a fair match, couple months before that I beat him 15-5 Or 6. I would agree that Alex is slight favourite! [ This message was edited by: 9BallBoy on 2011-12-20 11:55 ]

Players cant choose the table we try to give all players a chance to play on featured table, A yeah cant see why we could not shim the table although sometimes it spoils the art of 9ball.
